Local Leadership Team led by Megan Williams, RN, MSN, NFA
Williams began her career at Bayou Vista as the Assistant Director of Nursing in 2007 after working as a nurse in acute care and home health. She then moved in to the Director of Nursing role in 2009. Then, in 2014, Megan earned her Louisiana Nursing Facility Administrator license. During Williams’ leadership, Bayou Vista has earned the American Health Care Association’s “Bronze Quality Award” as well as having gone through a “deficiency free’ Annual Survey in 2016.
Nursing Services led by Arielle St. Romain, RN, MSN
Arielle St. Romain, an Avoyelles parish native, earned her Associates Degree in nursing from LSU-A, a Bachelor’s Degree from UL. She later went back to UL to earn a Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration. Between her studies she worked as a staff nurse at Rapides Regional Medical Center and at Fresenius Medical Care. As part of her Master’s program, St. Romain completed an internship at Bayou Vista Community Care Center. During that experience, she found a calling managing the care of the elderly.
